The history of A.W. Enterprises is a story of hope, dreams, courage, and opportunity. It’s the story of the impact a free society has on the individual to work and create a future for themselves and others.
Born in what is now known as the Czech Republic in 1913, Anton “Tony” Otrusina immigrated to America as a young man with little more than the hope of opportunity. Finding his way to Chicago, he went to work for the Brookfield Leather Goods Company. In 1962, Tony opened A.W. Enterprises, producing 2-Way Radio cases for the Motorola Corporation.
Today, more than 50 years since its founding, A.W. Enterprises continues to create a variety of protective case products and leather goods serving manufactures and distributors from 2 Way Radio cases to the case that protects the Stanley Cup.
